Michelle Rosado is a family nurse practitioner and primary care provider with a medical career spanning 28 years. She began her medical journey at age 16 as an EMT in New York, followed by her experience in the Emergency Room as an ER technician and phlebotomist. In 2005, Michelle Rosado worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Surgical ICU at Westchester Medical Center, a level one trauma center. She quickly assumed charge nurse responsibilities and applied her expertise in teaching Critical Care nursing rounds, while also developing extensive experience in liver and kidney transplant critical care.
Michelle progressed in her career by specializing in gastroenterology as an endoscopy nurse in 2012. She expanded her educational qualifications by completing her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing in 2015 with high honors distinction and gained membership in the Alpha Beta Kappa Honors Society. While continuing her education, Michelle gained experience working in home health nurse management. Michelle then completed the Nurse Practitioner Program at Purdue University, earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner with honors and recognition from the Sigma Theta Tau honors society. She has since worked in community health as a family nurse practitioner and primary care provider to patients across various age groups and delivering specialized care in medication-assisted treatment for substance use recovery and medication-assisted weight loss management.
She is happily married and has a beautiful teenage daughter, and alongside her family, she is involved in pastoral ministry. Her passion is to foster holistic well-being in others with faith-based practice in Jesus Christ, addressing both spiritual and physical needs.
